Finance Lead
Our client is a real estate investment platform with more than 25 years of experience operating across the Benelux region. With offices in Brussels, Luxembourg, and Amsterdam, the business has historically combined real estate development and investment activities and is currently undergoing a significant transformation.

Responsibilities
Financial Oversight & Business Partnering
- Act as the central finance point of contact across the group's operations in Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands.
- Coordinate and manage relationships with external accountants, auditors, tax advisors, and finance service providers.
- Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting across multiple entities.
- Translate financial and accounting information into actionable insights for senior management and shareholders.
- Support management in business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processes.
- Monitor liquidity, cash flow forecasting, and working capital management.
Controlling & Reporting
- Establish and enhance reporting processes and financial controls.
- Consolidate financial information from multiple jurisdictions and entities.
- Drive budgeting and forecasting exercises across the platform.
- Monitor financial performance against business objectives and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of financial reporting across the group.
Corporate Finance & Strategic Projects
- Lead internal corporate finance activities and strategic financial analyses.
- Build financial models and business cases to support investment decisions.
- Support fundraising initiatives and the launch of new investment vehicles.
- Assist the CEO in evaluating growth opportunities and strategic transactions.
- Prepare presentations and financial materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Acquisitions & Project Development
- Coordinate the financial aspects of acquisitions, disposals, and strategic projects.
- Participate in financial due diligence processes.
- Support integration activities following acquisitions.
- Work closely with operational and development teams to assess project viability and financial performance.
- Manage various cross-functional projects and ensure timely execution.
Systems & Process Improvement
- Drive process improvement initiatives across the finance function.
- Support the optimization and utilization of Exact Online and related reporting tools.
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve data quality.
- Contribute to broader data management and AI-driven initiatives aimed at improving decision-making and operational efficiency.
Requirements
Approximately 5-10 years of experience within:
- Financial Controlling
- Business Controlling
- Finance Management
- Corporate Finance
- Transaction Services
- Commercial Finance
- Project Finance
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience working with external accountants, auditors, and advisors.
Exposure to M&A, acquisitions, transactions, or corporate finance projects would be highly beneficial.
Experience with Exact Online or similar ERP/accounting systems is desirable.
- Be comfortable operating in an environment where processes are still evolving.
