Execution Algo Developer
- Build and deploy automated execution algorithms for equity and fixed income markets, from initial design through production deployment.
- Improve the performance, efficiency, and stability of the execution platform through careful tuning and thoughtful architecture.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers to strengthen execution logic, integrate new signals, and refine order placement behavior.
- Apply practical engineering judgment when choosing between short term tactical fixes and long term architectural improvements.
- Work directly with trading, operations, compliance, and peer engineering teams to ensure systems meet both business and regulatory needs.
- Design and implement core trading system components such as market data processing, connectivity to exchanges, and order handling flows.
- Evaluate whether to reuse existing internal tools or develop purpose-built components for latency and performance critical functions.
- Support the development of research tools, data infrastructure, and feature storage in partnership with research teams.
- Hands-on experience architecting and deploying algorithms within a real-time trading or execution environment. This is the top priority.
- Strong skills in C++ or a similar high performance language. C++ ability is important, but direct algorithmic trading system experience is the key requirement.
