Our client is seeking a highly driven and commercially minded Senior Equity Sales Trader to join a dynamic and fast-paced trading environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of generating revenue, building client relationships, and executing trades across global equity markets. This is a front-office role suited to someone entrepreneurial, self-starting, and motivated by performance and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute equity trades across developed and emerging markets on behalf of institutional clients.
- Maintain and grow a book of business, leveraging existing relationships and developing new ones.
- Provide market insights, trade ideas, and execution strategies to clients.
- Collaborate with research, sales, and trading teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
- Monitor market developments and identify trading opportunities aligned with client interests.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk controls.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in equity sales trading, preferably with a strong institutional client base.
- Demonstrable track record of revenue generation and client retention.
- Deep understanding of equity markets, trading strategies, and execution platforms.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and contribute to team growth.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- FCA regulated (or equivalent), with up-to-date certifications.
