A leading investment bank is seeking an experienced Vice President to join its growing Equity Capital Markets (ECM) platform. The firm provides corporate finance, capital markets, equity research, sales and trading, and advisory services to corporate, sponsor, and institutional clients across a wide range of industries.
This opportunity offers significant exposure to both origination and execution across a variety of equity-linked and equity financing transactions. The candidate will work closely with investment banking coverage teams, institutional investors, sales and trading professionals, and senior leadership to deliver strategic capital solutions for clients.
Ideal candidates will possess strong equity capital markets experience, a proven transaction execution background, and the ability to develop and maintain client relationships in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of equity capital markets transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, convertible securities, and other equity-related financings.
- Partner with investment banking coverage teams to originate new business opportunities and provide strategic capital markets advice.
- Coordinate transaction execution processes, including investor positioning, marketing efforts, valuation analysis, and deal structuring.
- Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors and internal distribution channels.
- Prepare and deliver client presentations, market updates, and transaction-related materials.
- Collaborate across investment banking, sales and trading, research, and syndicate teams to drive successful outcomes for clients.
- Mentor and oversee Associates and Analysts throughout transaction execution and business development initiatives.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of investment banking or equity capital markets experience.
- Demonstrated experience executing equity financing transactions.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities.
- Knowledge of capital markets, investor dynamics, and equity issuance processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
