EM Credit Sales (Asscoaite/VP) - London
A leading international investment bank is seeking an Associate or Vice President to join its Emerging Markets Credit Sales team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for covering a portfolio of European institutional clients, including real money accounts, hedge funds, asset managers, pension funds, insurance companies, and private banks, distributing EM credit products across both primary and secondary markets.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with a broad range of European institutional investors.
- Market and distribute Emerging Markets credit products, including sovereign, corporate, and quasi-sovereign bonds.
- Generate trade ideas and provide market colour, investment themes, and relative value opportunities to clients.
- Drive secondary market flow and support primary issuance activity.
- Work closely with Trading, Research, Syndicate, Structuring, and Banking teams to deliver solutions to clients.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand wallet share across existing accounts.
- Monitor market developments and communicate relevant insights to clients proactively.
- Maintain a high level of market knowledge across EM macroeconomic, political, and credit developments.
Requirements
- 3-8 years of experience within Credit Sales, Fixed Income Sales, EM Sales, or Institutional Sales.
- Strong understanding of Emerging Markets fixed income products, including sovereign and corporate credit.
- Existing relationships with European institutional investors, including hedge funds and/or real money accounts.
- Demonstrated ability to generate revenue and build long-term client relationships.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent academic background.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience covering European accounts from London.
- Exposure to both hedge fund and real money client segments.
- Knowledge of primary and secondary EM credit markets.
- Additional European language skills would be beneficial but are not required.
