Director - Wholesale
Role Purpose
The Director of Wholesale - Middle East is responsible for leading and executing the firm's wholesale distribution strategy across the region, driving sustainable asset growth through regulated intermediary channels, and ensuring full alignment with DFSA and ADGM regulatory requirements. The role focuses on deepening distributor engagement, enhancing product penetration, and establishing the firm as a preferred partner for banks, private banks, IFAs, and regional platforms. This position plays a critical part in shaping the firm's Middle East commercial footprint and ensuring disciplined governance across all wholesale activity.
Key Responsibilities
· Define and implement the Middle East wholesale distribution strategy in line with global objectives.
· Drive net new asset inflows through banks, private banks, IFAs, fund platforms, and other authorised intermediaries.
· Develop and maintain senior‑level relationships with regulated distributors across the UAE and broader GCC.
· Ensure all marketing, distribution, and client engagement activities comply with DFSA and ADGM Conduct of Business rules.
· Work closely with Compliance, Legal, and Risk to manage regulatory obligations, approvals, and ongoing oversight.
· Support product positioning, distributor training, and approved financial promotions.
· Contribute to regional business planning, market intelligence, and long‑term commercial strategy.
Key Requirements
· 10-12 years experience in asset management, distribution, or wholesale sales in the Middle East.
· Strong understanding of DFSA and ADGM regulatory frameworks, including financial promotions and intermediary oversight.
· Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field.
· Proven track record of asset gathering through regulated wholesale channels.
· Strong network across banks, private banks, and institutional distributors in the GCC.
