Location: Johannesburg
I'm partnering with a leading African bank based in Johannesburg that is continuing to build out its FX coverage across Emerging Markets, with a particular focus on African currencies. This expansion reflects both increased client demand and the bank's strong positioning across the region.
They are looking to hire an experienced Cross-Asset Trader with a background in Emerging Markets FX, ideally with direct exposure to African markets. The role sits within a well-established trading team and offers a broad remit across products, while also allowing you to develop a deeper specialisation within African and EM currencies.
This position offers a strong balance between breadth and focus. You will have the opportunity to trade across asset classes while building regional expertise in markets that remain under followed but highly dynamic. It is particularly well suited to someone who enjoys working in evolving markets and is keen to take on both responsibility and ownership.
