Our client is a leading global investment bank that is seeking a Quantitative Analyst to join its Credit Flow team in London. This is a high-impact role embedded directly within the trading business, offering close collaboration with traders and technologists. The team focuses on liquid, traditional credit trading products and supports the desk through quantitative analysis, tool development, and infrastructure enhancements.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing quantitative models to support trading, pricing, and risk management
- Building and maintaining analytical tools and libraries used by the front office
- Conducting in-depth data analysis and statistical modelling to derive market insights
- Collaborating with sales and trading teams to deliver tailored solutions
- Driving innovation through quantitative methodologies and technology integration
Requirements:
- Strong programming skills, particularly in Python
- Interest in financial mathematics and solving real-world trading problems
- Hands-on, pragmatic approach; comfortable working in Excel and legacy systems
- Understanding of object-oriented design and clean, scalable code
- Exposure to financial markets or trading environments is desirable
- Experience with .NET (C#), Excel, and VBA is a plus

- Lead or guide collaborative assignments and mentor junior team members
