Our client:
A leading industrial and technology-driven organization is seeking an experienced IT Auditor to join its internal audit team. The company operates across multiple sectors and is committed to digital transformation, regulatory compliance, and robust IT governance.

Position: IT Auditor (all genders)
Location: Münster (hybrid)
Estimated Salary: 80.000€-110.000€* base salary
Hours: 40/week
Languages: fluent German (C1+)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute IT audits across systems and processes (e.g., ERP platforms such as SAP ECC or SAGE).
  • Identify risks and vulnerabilities in IT infrastructure and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Evaluate IT controls in line with international standards (e.g., ISO 27001, COBIT).
  • Support compliance with regulatory frameworks, including KRITIS and NIS2.
  • Collaborate with IT and business units to advise on best practices and support external audits.
  • Contribute to digital transformation initiatives, including ERP upgrades (e.g., S/4HANA).
  • Prepare and present audit reports to senior stakeholders, including actionable recommendations.

Profile Requirements

  • Legal right to work and reside in Germany without visa sponsorship.
  • Degree in business, informatics, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT auditing or consulting, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP FI/MM/SD/CO/PP/HCM).
  • Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISM, or CISSP are a plus.
  • Expertise in IT security, risk management, and compliance.
  • Experience with AI-related technologies from an audit or consulting perspective is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficient in report writing and presenting technical findings clearly.
