About the Opportunity

A well established independent insurance brokerage is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join its growing team. This organization combines the resources and capabilities of a large national brokerage with the collaborative culture and support of a local agency. The position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced insurance professionals while servicing a diverse commercial client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Producers to service, retain, and expand commercial accounts
  • Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional customer service
  • Review insurance programs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions
  • Identify cross sell and account rounding opportunities
  • Process new business, renewals, endorsements, audits, and cancellations accurately and efficiently
  • Assist Producers with proposals, marketing efforts, policy summaries, and carrier submissions
  • Educate clients on policy provisions, exclusions, and coverage recommendations
  • Coordinate with carriers and wholesale partners to negotiate favorable coverage terms
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records within the agency management system
  • Support billing, invoicing, and other account related administrative functions

Qualifications

Required

  • Active P&C Insurance License
  • 3+ years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience within an independent agency environment
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative office environment with some remote flexibility

Preferred

  • Experience with Applied EPIC
  • Familiarity with CSR24 or similar agency management platforms
