A premier E&S insurance carrier is seeking a strategic and experienced underwriting executive to lead its underwriting operations. This confidential opportunity is ideal for a dynamic leader with deep expertise in both E&S property and casualty lines, a strong market presence, and a proven ability to drive profitable growth across diverse product portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and evolve underwriting strategy across all E&S lines, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and risk appetite.
- Oversee underwriting governance, pricing discipline, and portfolio management.
- Build and mentor high-performing underwriting teams across multiple specialties.
- Collaborate with actuarial, claims, distribution, and executive leadership to optimize performance.
- Represent the company externally with brokers, reinsurers, and industry bodies.
- Drive innovation in underwriting tools, analytics, and automation.

- Underwriting leadership experience in E&S or specialty lines.
