About the Opportunity:
A leading energy and infrastructure investment platform is seeking a Director to join its Capital Markets & Investments team. This senior leadership role will focus on originating, structuring, and executing complex financing and strategic transactions while partnering closely with development, commercial, and executive leadership teams. The position offers significant exposure to capital providers, investors, and strategic decision-making initiatives across a growing portfolio of assets and investments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the origination, structuring, and execution of debt, equity, and tax-advantaged financing transactions
- Oversee financial modeling, valuation analyses, investment underwriting, and risk assessment processes
- Manage due diligence efforts and coordinate with internal technical, commercial, legal, and development teams
- Develop and recommend financing strategies for new investments, acquisitions, and development opportunities
- Structure, negotiate, and execute financing, partnership, and strategic investment transactions
- Provide financial guidance and support on commercial initiatives, project economics, and capital allocation decisions
- Build and maintain relationships with lenders, investors, advisors, consultants, and other transaction counterparties
- Support the negotiation and evaluation of key commercial agreements to ensure overall project and investment viability
- Lead, mentor, and develop investment and finance team members while managing transaction execution across multiple workstreams
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in project finance, infrastructure investing, investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance
- Strong background in capital markets, structured financings, and transaction execution
- Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis capabilities
- Experience leading complex financing, investment, or strategic transactions from origination through closing
- Ability to manage relationships with investors, lenders, advisors, and executive stakeholders
- Strong understanding of transaction structuring, due diligence, and risk assessment processes
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or professional certification preferred
