Business Systems Analyst, Treasury Technology

Overview
A global investment management organization is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support Treasury, Cash Management, and Investment Finance technology initiatives. This individual will work closely with treasury and finance stakeholders to optimize critical business processes, enhance system capabilities, and implement new technologies across the organization's finance ecosystem.
The role offers broad exposure to treasury operations, banking integrations, cash management platforms, liquidity reporting, and enterprise financial technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Treasury and Finance teams to gather requirements, identify process improvements, and implement technology solutions.
- Analyze business processes and recommend system enhancements to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Document business requirements, workflows, data flows, process diagrams, and system specifications.
- Coordinate projects across business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors.
- Manage treasury system requests, enhancements, and production support activities.
- Oversee testing efforts, including user acceptance testing and deployment validation.
- Assist with onboarding new banking relationships and integrating them into treasury platforms.
- Support system implementations through all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and resolution of critical application issues.
- Drive adoption of automation and AI-enabled solutions where appropriate.
Preferred Technical Experience
- Treasury Management Systems such as Kyriba, GTreasury, Bellin, HazelTree, Reval, or similar platforms.
- Treasury operations, cash positioning, cash forecasting, and liquidity reporting.
- FX hedging systems and processes.
- SWIFT messaging, ISO 20022 standards, ACH, and payment processing.
- API integrations and SaaS platform support.
- Workato, Power Automate, or other integration platforms.
- SQL and relational databases.
- Tableau, Power BI, or comparable reporting tools.
- Salesforce experience is a plus.
- Data transformation tools such as dbt.
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development and automation tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related discipline.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
- Minimum 2 years supporting treasury, cash management, or treasury technology platforms.
- Strong understanding of treasury operations and financial systems.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Experience within investment management, asset management, private markets, private equity, or alternative investments is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to improve productivity and solution delivery.
