Company Overview
A well‑established yet entrepreneurial asset management firm is seeking a driven Investor Relations & Capital Raising professional to join its team in Oslo. The firm focuses exclusively on direct investments in the global shipping industry and currently manages approximately USD 500m in AuM. The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping the firm's investor engagement strategy and supporting its continued expansion across Europe.


Role Responsibilities
Lead the firm's capital raising efforts across new and existing strategies.
Build, maintain, and deepen long‑term relationships with a diverse investor base.
Act as the primary interface between investors and the investment team.
Present investment strategies and new opportunities clearly and confidently to both prospective and existing investors.
Prepare, refine, and maintain all investor materials, including pitch decks, teasers, quarterly update letters, and market insights.
Coordinate co‑investment opportunities and help develop strategic partnerships.
Monitor investor feedback, market sentiment, and capital markets trends relevant to the maritime sector.
Provide insights to internal stakeholders regarding investor appetite and competitive dynamics.
Support the ongoing evolution of the firm's capital raising and IR strategy as the platform continues to grow domestically and across Europe.

Ideal Candidate
Fluent in both Norwegian and English.
Passionate about sales, fundraising, and relationship building.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate opportunities clearly and persuasively.
Curious, structured, and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership.
Comfortable working in a lean, hands‑on, entrepreneurial environment.
Bachelor's degree or higher.
Experience in shipping, private markets, or financial services is not required - the firm strongly values smart, driven candidates who can learn the shipping industry on the job.
