Job Opportunity: AVP, Fund Transfers and Settlements Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily client cash deposits, withdrawals, and other fund transfers/payments.
- Collaborate with ECM/IBD teams to handle IPO and private placement operations.
- Oversee the deposit/withdrawal of physical certificates and share transfers.
- Execute daily settlement processing for securities, fixed incomes, listed and OTC derivatives, and structured products, ensuring timely follow-up on any discrepancies.
- Conduct daily and monthly trade and position reconciliations.
- Participate in various projects, including writing test cases, performing UAT, and system migrations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in fund transfers and settlement within the securities brokerage industry.
- Proficient in using HKEX-related platforms, Clearstream, and Euroclear.
- In-depth knowledge of securities, fixed incomes, listed and OTC derivatives, and structured products settlement.
- Ability to work independently and willingness to work overtime or on public holidays.
- Experience with MS Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform other ad-hoc projects and assignments as required.
