I am currently working with a large consumer lending organization looking to hire a senior, high-visibility individual contributor focused on pricing, decisioning, forecasting, and portfolio optimization across a large auto lending portfolio. The position is centered on using analytics to optimize pricing strategies, improve lending outcomes, evaluate business assumptions, and influence key product and portfolio decisions.
The ideal background includes experience across pricing, decisioning, underwriting, portfolio strategy, forecasting, and lending economics, with a strong understanding of how lending decisions impact profitability and portfolio performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead analytics initiatives focused on pricing, forecasting, decisioning, and portfolio optimization.
- Analyze large-scale customer, portfolio, and market data to identify opportunities for profitable growth.
- Develop and refine strategies related to lending economics, risk-adjusted returns, and customer outcomes.
- Partner with business leaders to evaluate assumptions, assess alternative strategies, and recommend actionable solutions.
- Collaborate with data science, credit risk, product, and technology teams to enhance decision frameworks and analytical capabilities.
- Support the development of optimization and forecasting tools used to drive portfolio and product performance.
- Translate complex analytical findings into business recommendations for executive stakeholders.
- Serve as a thought partner to leadership on lending strategy, pricing methodology, and portfolio management.
Ideal Background
- 10+ years of experience in analytics, decision science, credit risk, pricing, or portfolio strategy
- Strong auto finance experience
- Strong understanding of underwriting, credit decisioning, lending economics, and portfolio performance
- Experience with pricing optimization, forecasting, and strategic analytics
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and analytical tools
