An international financial institution is seeking a talented Associate or Associate Director to join its Sovereign Advisory team within the Capital Structure & Rating Advisory function. This is a high-impact role focused on advising sovereign and multilateral development bank clients on capital structure, ratings strategy, and funding optimisation.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll work closely with senior advisors and relationship managers to deliver strategic insights across:
- Debt optimisation & investor engagement
- Balance sheet and funding strategy
- Policy planning and ratings management
- Macroeconomic and political analysis
You'll also contribute to origination efforts by preparing financial models, client presentations, and conducting in-depth research on sovereign credit profiles and regulatory frameworks.
What We're Looking For
We're keen to speak with professionals who bring:
- Experience in sovereign advisory, rating agencies, or investment banking
- Strong understanding of sovereign balance sheets and rating methodologies
- Familiarity with IMF tools and guidelines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modelling
- A collaborative mindset and ability to navigate complex organisations
- French language skills
