Currently working on a Corporate Development hire for a large-scale, private equity-backed Business Services platform with a global footprint and ambitious growth plans. The business operates internationally, generating approximately £500m of annual revenue, and has recently entered a new ownership chapter following a significant private equity investment. With a clear mandate to materially increase scale and earnings over the coming years, M&A is expected to remain a key pillar of the company's growth strategy.

The Opportunity:

Reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Development, this individual will join a lean, high-impact team responsible for sourcing, evaluating and executing acquisitions globally. This is a rare opportunity for someone seeking greater ownership and visibility than is typically available in investment banking or larger corporate development teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading acquisitions across the full transaction lifecycle, from target evaluation through to completion and integration.
• Building and maintaining financial models, valuation analyses and investment cases.
• Managing due diligence processes and coordinating advisers.
• Preparing Board, Executive Committee and shareholder materials.
• Supporting post-acquisition integration and strategic initiatives.
• Developing relationships with founders, management teams, advisers and industry participants.
• Working directly alongside senior leadership on strategic growth initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will be capable of running transactions independently and operating with limited infrastructure around them.
