Asset Management Data Analyst
Summary
A private credit investment firm is looking to hire an Associate into its Asset Management team, focused on data, analytics, and risk management across a portfolio of asset-backed investments. This role sits within the investment function and supports portfolio monitoring by owning collateral data extraction, validation, and reporting processes. The position combines technical data capabilities with exposure to credit risk and structured finance, playing a key role in building out the firm's centralized data infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and automate end-to-end collateral data workflows, including sourcing, mapping, validation, and integration of borrower and servicer data across portfolios using Python/SQL
- Partner with Technology to build and enhance centralized data infrastructure, translating business needs into scalable data pipelines and systems
- Support portfolio risk management through borrowing base monitoring, data integrity checks, and development of dashboards/reporting that deliver actionable insights to senior stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in asset management, private credit, structured finance, fintech, or a related field with exposure to financial data and portfolio analytics
- Strong technical skillset in Python and SQL, with experience working across large, complex datasets and building data pipelines or automation workflows
- Understanding of financial concepts, including cashflow modeling, collateral performance, or credit risk, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
