Responsibilities
- Oversee the underwriting, valuation, and ongoing performance monitoring of a diversified real asset-backed debt portfolio, including the development of long‑term cash flow projections and downside scenarios.
- Provide regular portfolio updates to senior stakeholders through structured reviews, tracking asset performance, risk exposure, and compliance with investment and loan parameters.
- Prepare and present periodic asset‑level reviews that summarize loan structure, collateral performance, market conditions, and sponsor strength, with clear identification of key risks, mitigants, and emerging trends.
- Coordinate cross‑functionally with internal teams across investments, legal, development, leasing, property operations, and portfolio management to incorporate relevant expertise into asset‑level analysis and decision‑making.
- Deliver data‑driven recommendations related to leasing decisions, construction funding, capital rebalancing, asset dispositions, special servicing strategies, and real‑estate‑owned outcomes.
- Serve as a senior point of contact for borrower and sponsor relationships, managing escalations and supporting the resolution of complex credit, structural, and operational matters.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with loan covenants and structural tests, including cash flow thresholds, extension conditions, and other performance‑based requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate or related
- 1-6 years of experience working at a real estate private equity or debt firm
- Experience in loan asset management or underwriting preferred
