A leading asset manager is seeking an Asset Allocation professional to join their Public Securities Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate asset class and sector valuations to uncover tactical asset allocation opportunities and risks, with a primary focus on public real assets.
- Design strategic asset allocation frameworks for multi-asset portfolios, tailored to specific objectives such as return targets, risk tolerance, yield requirements, and factor exposures.
- Analyze the investment potential and associated risks across a broad spectrum of asset classes-both public and private-with emphasis on public real assets.
- Provide actionable investment insights and recommendations during portfolio management and strategy meetings, contributing to idea generation and decision-making.
- Track macroeconomic indicators and sector-specific developments, translating data into strategic implications, risks, and opportunities for investment portfolios.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent. Graduate degree, CFA or CAIA designation a plus.
- 3-8 years of relevant investment experience:
- Asset allocation experience is considered an advantage
- Strong skills using Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Bloomberg or FactSet.
- Self-starter with strong work ethic and results orientation.
