Investment Analyst/Associate - Principal Investments (Private Credit)
A top global alternative asset manager is seeking an Analyst/Associate to join its principal investing team with a focus on private credit. The group invests across a range of structures including unitranche, second lien, HoldCo PIK, mezzanine, and preferred equity. Team members operate as generalists across industries and deal types.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, execute, and manage private credit investments.
- Lead due‑diligence processes with internal teams, counterparties, and external experts.
- Build financial models and conduct KPI and quality‑of‑earnings analyses.
- Prepare and present materials for investment committee meetings.
Candidate Profile
- 1-3 years of investment banking or investing experience; M&A or leveraged finance
- Candidates coming from buy-side shops or bulge bracket banks are strongly preferred
- Strong financial modeling skills and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to synthesize data and communicate clearly in a fast‑paced environment
