Analyst / Associate - Asset Management, Berlin
This role offers hands-on exposure to leasing, asset strategy, stakeholder management, and value creation across a high-quality portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive income through leasing and asset management initiatives, including direct engagement with occupiers and third-party leasing agents.
- Minimise vacancy and optimise tenant mix through proactive leasing strategies and negotiations.
- Lead lease transactions from initial interest through to signed agreements, coordinating with external legal counsel.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, local authorities, and market participants to enhance asset visibility and market positioning.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of marketing materials for vacant or upcoming space.
- Maintain deep market knowledge, including supply/demand dynamics, competitive positioning, and site visits.
- Collaborate with internal teams across investments, finance, legal, design, and marketing throughout the deal lifecycle.
- Review and analyse asset-level reports including rent rolls, CapEx budgets, and financial statements.
- Support strategic planning, budgeting, and financial reporting for the portfolio.
- Manage and oversee third-party property managers.
Candidate Profile:
- 1-4 years of experience in asset management or leasing, ideally within industrial or logistics real estate.
- Strong understanding of lease structuring, DCF modelling, LOI and lease negotiation, and financial analysis.
- Experience presenting market insights and transaction recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
- Exposure to large-scale CapEx or refurbishment projects is highly desirable.
- Fluent/native German speaker with strong English communication skills.
- Based in Germany or willing to relocate; existing brokerage network is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ability to learn internal systems.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to assets across the region.
