We are partnered with a leading consulting firm that advises corporate treasury and finance teams on risk management, treasury transformation, and financial technology solutions. They are seeking a Treasury Risk Consultant to support clients with treasury risk strategy, derivatives, hedge accounting, and TMS implementations.
Treasury Risk Consultant Responsibilities
- Assess liquidity, FX, interest rate, commodity, and credit risk exposures.
- Design and evaluate hedging strategies and risk management programs.
- Support hedge accounting, valuation, and financial reporting initiatives.
- Develop treasury policies, governance frameworks, and risk reporting.
- Build financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses.
- Assist with Treasury Management System (TMS) implementations and enhancements.
- Present recommendations to treasury and finance leadership teams.
Treasury Risk Consultant Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in treasury, risk management, hedge accounting, or consulting.
- Knowledge of derivatives, treasury operations, and financial risk management.
- Experience with Treasury Management Systems such as Kyriba, Quantum, Reval, or similar.
- Strong Excel, analytical, and communication skills.
Treasury Risk Consultant Preferred Qualifications
- CFA, FRM, CTP, or CPA designation.
- Experience with treasury technology implementations.
- Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, or Python.
