Financial Crime & Fraud Analyst

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct proactive investigations into customer activity, including source of funds checks, due diligence, and transactional analysis.
- Monitor systems to detect suspicious patterns and unusual behavior.
- Escalate suspicious activity to the MLRO in a timely and accurate manner.
- Contribute to fraud detection and prevention efforts, covering both first-party and third-party fraud.
- Maintain accurate logs and registers in line with regulatory expectations.
- Identify and implement process improvements in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Assist in drafting and updating internal procedures and documentation.
About You
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial crime or compliance roles; experience in crypto is a strong advantage.
- Background in payments, fintech, or crypto-related environments.
- Passionate about building compliance frameworks in emerging tech landscapes.
- Comfortable working autonomously in a dynamic, mission-driven setting with minimal structure.
