Responsibilities of Trade Operations Engineer
- Monitor live trading systems and manage real-time risk controls across global markets.
- Perform time-sensitive triage and incident resolution with high accuracy and minimal error tolerance.
- Contribute to software deployments, configuration management, and small-scale code updates.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system reliability and operational workflows.
- Work within a complex environment of interdependent processes and distributed systems.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance trading infrastructure.
Requirements of Trade Operations Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Strong interest in finance and trading with prior industry experience.
- Strong proficiency in C++ or Python.
- Experience with Linux systems and software debugging.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a dynamic team setting.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to support trading operations.
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
