Senior BI Analyst
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior BI Analyst to support advanced analytics initiatives across Medicare, Value-Based Care (VBC), and HEDIS programs. This role will leverage SQL and Tableau to transform complex healthcare data into actionable insights that drive performance, compliance, and quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau to monitor Medicare and VBC program performance.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large healthcare datasets.
- Analyze HEDIS metrics and support quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with clinical, actuarial, and finance teams to evaluate cost, utilization, and outcomes.
- Translate business needs into technical solutions and present findings to stakeholders.
- Support regulatory reporting and compliance efforts related to Medicare Advantage and VBC.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Public Health, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare analytics or BI, with a focus on Medicare and VBC.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Tableau; experience with other BI tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of HEDIS measures, Medicare Advantage, and value-based payment models.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CMS reporting and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with risk adjustment, provider performance analytics, and population health.
- Consulting or client-facing experience is a plus.
