Overview
A leading boutique investment bank in New York City is seeking a Vice President to join its Equity Capital Markets group with a dedicated focus on Digital Infrastructure. This individual will play a central role in originating, structuring, and executing equity and equity linked transactions for clients across data centers, fiber networks, wireless infrastructure, towers, broadband, digital services, and related sectors. The VP will work closely with senior leadership, coverage teams, and product partners while managing execution and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
Origination and Client Coverage
- Support senior bankers in developing and maintaining relationships with public and private companies, private equity sponsors, and infrastructure funds active in the digital infrastructure ecosystem
- Prepare and deliver tailored pitches and market updates including equity markets conditions, valuation trends, and transaction structures relevant to the digital infrastructure sector
- Identify new business opportunities through sector research, financial analysis, and market monitoring
Transaction Execution
- Lead day to day execution of equity and equity linked transactions including IPOs, follow ons, block trades, PIPEs, convertibles, and private placements
- Manage due diligence, drafting sessions, auditor interactions, investor education, and regulatory processes
- Oversee creation of offering materials, financial models, valuation analyses, and investor marketing materials
- Coordinate workflow among internal groups including research, syndicate, institutional sales, and legal compliance
Sector Expertise
- Maintain deep knowledge of digital infrastructure including business models, industry metrics, valuation benchmarks, regulatory considerations, and investor sentiment
- Track relevant public companies, private market activity, and capital markets precedents within the sector
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in Equity Capital Markets, Investment Banking, or related product work, with meaningful exposure to digital infrastructure or broader technology and communications sectors
- Strong understanding of equity capital markets dynamics including pricing, allocation, investor engagement, and regulatory frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to run workstreams independently while managing multiple stakeholders
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills, with comfort explaining sector specific metrics common in digital infrastructure
