Treasury Business Analyst
Summary
A global multi-strategy hedge fund is hiring a Treasury Business Analyst to report directly to the Treasury COO. This role serves as the key link between Treasury and Technology, responsible for translating complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements that support system development and optimization. The position offers broad exposure across core Treasury functions, including collateral, liquidity, financing, margin, and counterparty risk.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between Treasury, Technology, and Operations teams
- Translate Treasury processes and workflows into functional and technical specifications
- Analyze large and complex datasets across multiple asset classes to identify insights and inefficiencies
- Support system development end-to-end, including design, testing, and implementation
- Drive process improvements across Treasury, focusing on efficiency, data quality, and scalability
- Create and maintain documentation, including requirements, workflows, and user materials
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in business analysis within financial services
- Prior exposure to Treasury, financing, or margin-related functions preferred
- Strong understanding of financial products including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and FX
- Proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Python for analysis and automation
- Experience working with Technology teams across the full software development lifecycle
