Tech Equity Analyst | Leading Chinese Mutual Fund
Selby Jennings has partnered with a leading Chinese mutual fund with a strong track record in equity investing, currently looking to hire a Tech Equity Analyst to join their team in Shanghai or Hong Kong.
- Conduct in-depth fundamental analysis on companies across the AI ecosystem
- Produce industry research and company reports to support investment decisions
- Analyze financial markets, macro developments, and relevant policy trends
- Monitor and interpret industry news flow and key data points
- Generate investment recommendations for internal investment teams
- Provide support to portfolio managers on both existing holdings and new ideas
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Materials Science, or related disciplines
- 1-3 years of experience in equity research (buy-side experience an advantage) within relevant sector / thematic exposure
- Experience covering global markets, including US, Hong Kong, and China
- Strong analytical capabilities with a keen market sense
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in both Mandarin and English (written and spoken)
