SVP Algo Trading Dev
One of the largest and most elite U.S. Investment Banks is hiring a Fixed Income Algo Engineering Lead to join its Rates Algo Trading Technology team. This is a high-impact, front-office engineering role supporting internal market making, algorithmic trading, and internal matching for it's U.S. trading business.
You'll work directly with traders and quants to build and optimize one of the most sophisticated algorithmic trading platforms in the industry. The team is focused on performance, scalability, and innovation-offering a unique opportunity to contribute to greenfield initiatives and shape the future of their fixed income trading infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop reusable algorithmic trading engines with a focus on low-latency execution strategies.
- Ensure performance and reliability of core algo components in a high-throughput environment.
- Collaborate with eTrading teams to support live trading and production systems.
- Continuously improve and optimize trading strategy code in partnership with quants and traders.
- Drive greenfield development initiatives and contribute to the evolution of the platform.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Core Java development.
- Proven track record building low-latency, high-throughput distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of algorithmic trading systems and market microstructure.
- Experience working in a front-office environment with traders and quantitative teams.
- Bonus: Experience in fixed income or rates trading.
