A North Carolina-based Private Credit firm is seeking a Structured Products Senior Associate to join their team. This position will sit within the group's Investor Partners Group and will be responsible for structuring and executing debt and equity financings solutions across the firm's credit strategies. The team supports Direct Lending, Broadly Syndicated Loan, and Credit Opportunities platforms through the origination, structuring, and placement of a wide range of capital markets solutions, including securitizations and bank financing. With a strong track record of execution and innovation, the team partners closely with external banks and investors while coordinating internally across investment, treasury, operations, and legal functions to deliver efficient, scalable financing for the firm's funds and accounts.
The Structured Products Senior Associate will be responsible for:
- Structuring and executing debt financing solutions across the firm's credit platforms, including:
- Securitizations and CLOs (Middle Market and BSL)
- Lending facilities and warehouse financings
- Total return swaps, asset‑backed financings, and senior unsecured bond issuances
- Assisting with the structuring and negotiation of financing transactions, including CLOs, lending facilities, and related transactions
- Preparing and reviewing transaction documentation, including offering circulars, indentures, and ancillary legal materials
- Coordinating with Treasury, Operations, Legal, and Investment teams to support pricing, execution, and closing of transactions
- Modeling transaction capital structures and generating cash flow projections using Excel, Intex, and Moody's
- Supporting internal and external borrowing activity, including warehouse financings and ongoing reporting
- Preparing investor-facing materials, historical analyses, and responding to CLO debt and equity investor requests
- Supporting investor relationship management efforts, including CRM maintenance
- Researching and developing new financing structures and product ideas to support current and future strategies
The Structured Products Senior Associate should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of relevant experience at a top-tier investment bank, asset manager, or alternative credit platform
- Experience with structured finance, securitizations, CLOs, or leveraged credit preferred
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; structured finance modeling experience is a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously
- Strong project management skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Highly analytical, proactive, and process-oriented mindset
- Team-oriented professional with strong communication skills and the ability to build credibility with internal and external stakeholders
