Location: Chicago (on-site)
Salary: $100k - $150k + bonus
Summary:
This is an exceptional opportunity to join the Operations team at a leading high-frequency trading firm, where you'll support multiple trading desks and help streamline operational workflows. Working closely with traders, researchers, and software engineers, you'll identify and implement the most effective tools and technologies to enhance desk performance. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-frequency trading environments and a demonstrated ability to analyze complex challenges and deliver practical, scalable solutions.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Conduct comprehensive reconciliation of trades, positions, and valuations
- Support accurate trade capture across all products involved in the firm's activities
- Respond to reconciliation-related questions from teams throughout the organization
- Produce and validate daily P&L results
- Develop and implement analytical tools to enhance daily workflows
- Embrace, apply, and advocate for new technologies as they are introduced
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and skills:
- 5+ years of experience in middle office
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related quantitative discipline
- Familiarity with futures, options on futures, equities, equity options, FX, bonds, swaps, cryptocurrencies, or other financial products and derivatives
- Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, VBA, or PowerQuery
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
