Senior Finance Manager | Chinese Financial Group
I'm partnering with a licensed financial institution with operations across Hong Kong, Mainland China, and Singapore to hire an experienced Finance Manager. This is a key leadership role overseeing regional finance operations, regulatory compliance, and supporting ongoing business growth.
What does the role involve?
You will lead and manage full‑spectrum finance responsibilities across multiple entities, including:
- Financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, liquid capital, and cashflow management
- Monthly financial closing, journal entries, and analysis to support senior management decisions
- Full ownership of SFC Financial Resources Rules (FRR) returns
- Reviewing commission and fee calculations
- Revenue reconciliation with external private banks
- Handling statutory audit, tax filings, and regulatory obligations
- Supporting internal audit, compliance, and risk management frameworks
- Advising senior leadership on treasury, cross‑border fund flows, financial risks, and strategic initiatives
- Liaising with auditors, tax authorities, banks, SFC, and external stakeholders
What experience do you need?
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
- Qualified accountant (HKICPA / ACCA / equivalent) preferred
- Minimum 5 years' combined experience in audit + in‑house finance
- Big 4 audit experience is highly preferred
- Experience in asset management, EAM, or broader financial services
- Strong understanding of SFC regulations and HKFRS/IFRS
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills
- Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
