Our client is a growing alternative investment manager seeking a Vice President of Investor Relations to help lead capital formation efforts and deepen relationships across the institutional and private wealth channels. This individual will work closely with senior leadership on fundraising strategy, investor engagement, and the continued growth of the firm's investor base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business development and capital raising initiatives across current and future investment vehicles
  • Develop and manage relationships with institutional investors, family offices, RIAs, wealth platforms, consultants, and high-net-worth investors
  • Drive investor sourcing, outreach, and pipeline management efforts
  • Manage prospective investor due diligence processes and coordinate follow-up activities
  • Partner with firm leadership on fundraising strategy, target investor identification, and market positioning
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, fundraising materials, and investor communications
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for current and prospective investors
  • Coordinate responses to investor requests, DDQs, and reporting inquiries
  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and investor meetings
  • Maintain CRM data and provide fundraising updates, pipeline reporting, and market intelligence to senior leadership

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in investor relations, capital formation, institutional sales, fundraising, private wealth distribution, or business development
  • Proven experience raising capital on behalf of an alternative investment manager, private equity firm, private credit platform, real estate manager, or similar investment organization
  • Existing relationships across family offices, RIAs, wealth managers, consultants, or institutional investors preferred
  • Strong understanding of alternative investments and fund structures
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage a fundraising process and investor pipeline
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to help build a growing platform
