Lead Pricing Analyst - Strategic

As a Lead Pricing Analyst in the Strategic Team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping pricing strategy through advanced analytic and cross-functional collaboration. Roles and Responsibilities
You'll lead the development of pricing models and strategies that directly influence business performance. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the development, validation, and presentation of predictive and machine learning models.
- Ensuring data accuracy and suitability for modelling, pricing, and monitoring.
- Conducting pricing analyses and presenting strategic options to senior stakeholders.
- Developing and maintaining dashboards to support business decision-making.
- Evaluating new data sources and building cost-benefit cases for their use.
- Managing projects across the full price control cycle.
- Collaborating with underwriting and pricing teams to deliver strategic initiatives.
- Monitoring market trends and supporting tender responses with risk pricing insights.
Requirements
- A strong quantitative degree (e.g. Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science).
- Experience in a data-driven environment, ideally within insurance.
- Proficiency in statistical tools and programming languages (e.g. SAS, R, Python).
- Experience with predictive modelling tools such as Emblem and Radar.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex analysis clearly.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to align pricing with market conditions.
- Leadership skills and experience mentoring junior analysts.
