A well-established Swiss regional financial institution, providing comprehensive retail and corporate banking services. It maintains a strong local presence, manages substantial assets, and employs more than a thousand professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality financial solutions and fostering long-term client relationships.

Position: IT Prüfungsleiter*in (all genders)
Location: Bern, Switzerland (hybrid)
Estimated Salary: 140.000 - 190.000 CHF* + bonus
Language: German (C1+)
*depending on experience & certifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute risk-oriented IT audits and operational IT audits covering areas such as IT governance, project management, networks, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital transformation
  • Lead assigned IT audit domains along core business processes; develop multi-year audit plans and manage outsourcing considerations where applicable
  • Conduct hands-on operational audits within a small team and ensure quality management across the audit lifecycle
  • Consolidate findings into clear, actionable conclusions and present results effectively to stakeholders at all levels
  • Promote collaboration within the audit team and partner constructively with audited units and internal stakeholders
  • Lead a team of up to 3 colleagues

Profile Requirements:

  • Several years of professional experience in IT and IT auditing, ideally across multiple roles or environments
  • Strong methodological capability: able to structure audit scopes based on risk and apply suitable standards and practices when building audit programs
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with initiative, systems thinking, and a solution-oriented approach to operational audits
  • Demonstrated team leadership skills; communicative, collaborative, and engaged
  • University degree (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related IT field) and relevant certifications such as CISA, CRISC, or comparable
  • The legal right to work and live in Switzerland
  • German fluency (C1+)
