Investment Grade Credit Analyst - Healthcare Coverage
A leading active asset manager is seeking an Investment Grade Healthcare Credit Research Analyst to join its Corporate Credit team. This individual will be responsible for fundamental credit research across the Healthcare sector, generating actionable investment recommendations for portfolio managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth fundamental credit analysis on investment grade healthcare issuers.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, including cash flow, leverage, liquidity, and valuation analysis.
- Generate independent investment recommendations and relative value assessments across healthcare credits.
- Monitor portfolio holdings and proactively identify risks, catalysts, and investment opportunities.
- Meet regularly with company management teams, industry experts, and sell-side analysts.
- Produce written research reports and present investment ideas to portfolio managers and investment committees.
- Analyze industry dynamics, regulatory developments, and market trends affecting healthcare companies.
- Collaborate closely with portfolio managers and fellow research analysts across sectors.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of credit research experience covering corporate issuers, preferably within Healthcare.
- Strong understanding of investment grade corporate credit markets.
- Experience performing fundamental credit analysis and building detailed financial models.
- Proven ability to formulate and communicate investment recommendations.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree required; CFA designation or progress toward CFA is preferred.
- Buy-side experience preferred, though strong sell-side credit research candidates will be considered.
