Investment Banking Experienced Analyst- Industrials
A leading upper middle market investment bank is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst to join its Industrials team in New York. This is an opportunity for a second or third-year Investment Banking Analysts looking to gain significant M&A exposure within a highly respected advisory platform. The firm combines the resources, stability, and global reach of a large financial institution with the advisory-focused culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and merger models
- Prepare pitch books, board presentations, and marketing materials
- Conduct industry, market, company, and buyer universe research
- Support execution of live M&A transactions from launch through closing
- Assist with due diligence processes and transaction coordination
- Analyze company financial statements, operating metrics, and strategic positioning
- Draft CIMs, management presentations, and transaction-related materials
- Work closely with senior bankers on client-facing initiatives and deal execution
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of investment banking experience
- Current Investment Banking Analyst 2, or 3
- Strong financial modeling and valuation capabilities
- M&A transaction experience preferred
- Demonstrated interest in the Industrials sector
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong academic credentials and attention to detail
