The Industrials group is one of the firm's most established franchises. The ADG vertical, led by highly respected senior leaders, is entering an exciting growth phase and building out a new D.C. office.
Role Overview
As an Investment Banking Associate, you will play a key role in executing M&A transactions, contributing to business development efforts, and supporting the ongoing expansion of the ADG practice. The position offers substantial visibility and the opportunity to work closely with senior bankers who are driving the growth of this strategic vertical.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Lead day-to-day execution across sell-side M&A and strategic advisory engagements
- Manage financial analysis, valuation workstreams, and model oversight
- Drive creation of pitch materials, management presentations, CIMs, and other deliverables
- Coordinate due diligence processes across internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders
- Support VP and MD-level bankers in deal strategy, client communication, and negotiation preparation
- Mentor and oversee Analysts, providing guidance and quality control
- Participate in sector research and business development initiatives within Industrials and ADG
- Contribute to a lean, high-ownership team environment where Associates play a pivotal part in execution
Compensation
The firm offers competitive compensation aligned with top middle-market platforms:
- Base Salary: $160K-$200K depending on Senior Associate year
Ideal Candidate Profile
The strongest candidates will bring:
- 3-5+ years of investment banking experience, ideally within Industrials or ADG/Government Services
- Strong modeling, valuation, and transaction execution capabilities
- Prior experience working on sell-side M&A transactions
- Ability to thrive in lean deal teams with significant responsibility
- Exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and client readiness
- A collaborative mindset and desire to contribute to a growing, high-impact platform
- SIE, Series 63, and Series 79 licenses (or willingness to complete)
