Our client, an innovative and fast-growing technology company in the deep-tech sector, is seeking a Head of Finance (f/m/d) to join its team in Munich.
Your Responsibilities
- Own the finance function end-to-end, including Accounting, Controlling, Treasury, Tax, and Financial Operations
- Lead monthly and annual financial reporting under HGB and support the development of IFRS readiness
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial performance management
- Support fundraising activities and work closely with executive leadership, investors, and board members
- Manage public funding programs and ensure compliance with reporting requirements
- Establish scalable financial processes, controls, and governance structures
- Lead the development and optimization of ERP and finance systems
- Build, develop, and lead the finance team as the company continues to grow
- Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, financial institutions, and other external stakeholders
Your Profile
- Proven leadership experience within Finance in a technology-driven, industrial, manufacturing, or high-growth environment
- Track record of building and scaling finance functions
- Strong knowledge of HGB and practical IFRS experience
- Experience in treasury, liquidity management, and corporate financing
- Strong background in financial planning, reporting, and business partnering
- Experience working with investors, banks, auditors, and executive leadership teams
- Hands-on mindset combined with strategic thinking
- Fluent English required; German is an advantage
