Key Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end FX settlement process, ensuring timely and accurate settlement of all FX transactions.
Monitor and reconcile FX trades, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including trading desks, counter parties, and custodians, to ensure smooth settlement operations.
Maintain and update settlement systems and databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly settlement reports.
Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to FX settlement operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in FX settlement operations or a similar role within the financial services industry.
Strong understanding of FX markets, products, and settlement processes.
Proficiency in settlement systems and software, such as SWIFT, CLS, and other relevant platforms.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
