Fundamental Analyst- Global Quantitative Market Making Firm
Key Responsibilities
- Develop deep expertise in a specific sector or industry, while maintaining a broad understanding of Asia Equities.
- Identify pricing inefficiencies and collaborate with trading teams to translate insights into profitable strategies.
- Source and transform unstructured data into meaningful signals to support investment decisions.
- Monitor and interpret macroeconomic indicators, monetary policy decisions, and geopolitical developments.
- Apply a holistic approach to forecasting the distribution of market outcomes, including volatility predictions.
- Quantify risk-reward scenarios using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Track market trends, anomalies, and mispricing opportunities to generate alpha or reduce risk.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of trading strategies through research and innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial research, with a focus on HK/ China Equities.
- Proven ability to execute the full spectrum of fundamental analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills, especially in open-ended and complex scenarios.
- Proficiency in scientific, mathematical, and financial analysis.
- Skilled in both top-down and bottom-up research methodologies.
- Familiarity with options pricing and financial derivatives.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- High level of curiosity, integrity, and professionalism.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Experience
- Hands-on experience with financial derivatives and options markets.
- Coding experience, particularly in Python.
