Overview
An innovative technology company at the forefront of advanced computing and high-performance electronics is looking for an FPGA Engineer to join a growing engineering team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing FPGA-based solutions used in highly demanding, performance-critical environments.
Working closely with hardware, software, and systems engineers, you will contribute to the development of next-generation platforms where latency, throughput, reliability, and scalability are critical.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and verify FPGA solutions using VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog.
- Implement high-performance digital signal processing, networking, or data acquisition systems.
- Optimize designs for latency, resource utilization, and overall system performance.
- Collaborate with embedded software, systems, and hardware engineers throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support architecture definition, design reviews, testing, and validation activities.
- Develop simulation and verification environments to ensure robust FPGA implementations.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex hardware and firmware issues.
- Contribute to future hardware platform and architecture decisions.
Requirements
- Strong experience developing FPGA solutions in a commercial environment.
- Deep understanding of digital design principles and modern FPGA architectures.
- Experience with Xilinx, AMD, Intel (Altera), or similar FPGA platforms.
- Knowledge of high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, DDR, JESD, Serial Transceivers, or similar technologies.
- Experience with simulation, verification, and debugging tools.
- Familiarity with Linux environments and embedded systems is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
