FP&A Associate | Chinese Securities Firm
We are working with a well‑established financial services institution with strong regional backing to appoint a Junior Associate to support its Finance & Accounting function in Hong Kong.
This is a solid opportunity for someone with hands‑on operational finance experience in the securities / financial services space who is looking to build long‑term exposure across fund flows, accounting operations, and regulatory processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily client deposit and withdrawal transactions
- Perform voucher input, expense disbursement, and bank reconciliation
- Prepare AR, AP, and investment portfolio schedules on a monthly basis
- Assist in the preparation of management reporting
- Maintain and update bank signatory arrangements and support daily funding activities
- Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes
- Assist with annual audit coordination
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the finance team
Requirements
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Familiar with Securities and Futures (Client Money) Rules
- Minimum 2 years' experience within the financial services industry (securities preferred)
- Mature, detail‑oriented, and able to work under pressure in a team‑based environment
- Good computer skills (Excel and accounting systems exposure preferred)
- Working proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (spoken and written)
