Financial Analyst II

Consumer Products | Gloucester, MA (Hybrid)

Overview

A growing consumer products organization is seeking a Financial Analyst II to support FP&A activities across the business. This role will partner closely with cross-functional teams-including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain-to deliver financial insights that drive decision-making, improve performance, and support long-term growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes
  • Build and maintain financial models to analyze revenue, margin, cost drivers, and profitability by product, channel, and customer
  • Prepare and deliver management reporting, dashboards, and variance analyses for senior leadership
  • Analyze trends, risks, and opportunities within P&L, working capital, and cash flow
  • Partner with business stakeholders on pricing, promotions, trade spend, and new product initiatives
  • Support operational and supply chain analysis, including inventory, COGS, and productivity metrics
  • Assist with ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and executive decision-making
  • Continuously improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, and data integrity

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance
  • Experience within consumer products / CPG / retail / manufacturing strongly preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems, BI tools, or financial planning software a plus
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Clear communicator comfortable partnering with non-finance stakeholders
