Finance Manager - Manufacturing

Finance Manager - Manufacturing Responsibilities:

  • Lead plant‑level financial planning, including budgets, forecasts, and long‑range plans
  • Analyze manufacturing performance, including fixed and variable costs, productivity, labor, and overhead absorption
  • Own standard costing, variance analysis (PPV, MUV, spending, yield), and inventory valuation
  • Partner with Operations to evaluate capital investments, continuous improvement initiatives, and process changes
  • Support month‑end close, ensuring accurate journal entries, accruals, and financial reporting
  • Prepare and present financial results to plant leadership and regional management
  • Drive cost control initiatives and identify opportunities for margin improvement
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and Georgia‑Pacific financial policies
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and HR
  • Support audits, internal reviews, and risk management activities
  • Develop and mentor analysts or junior finance staff, as applicable

Finance Manager - Manufacturing Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, or similar) preferred
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills
  • 5 - 7 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelors Degree (Finance or Accounting Preferred)
  • Living in or open to relocation to Pineland Texas
