Finance Manager - Manufacturing
Finance Manager - Manufacturing Responsibilities:
- Lead plant‑level financial planning, including budgets, forecasts, and long‑range plans
- Analyze manufacturing performance, including fixed and variable costs, productivity, labor, and overhead absorption
- Own standard costing, variance analysis (PPV, MUV, spending, yield), and inventory valuation
- Partner with Operations to evaluate capital investments, continuous improvement initiatives, and process changes
- Support month‑end close, ensuring accurate journal entries, accruals, and financial reporting
- Prepare and present financial results to plant leadership and regional management
- Drive cost control initiatives and identify opportunities for margin improvement
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and Georgia‑Pacific financial policies
- Partner cross‑functionally with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and HR
- Support audits, internal reviews, and risk management activities
- Develop and mentor analysts or junior finance staff, as applicable
Finance Manager - Manufacturing Qualifications:
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, or similar) preferred
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- 5 - 7 years of relevant experience
- Bachelors Degree (Finance or Accounting Preferred)
- Living in or open to relocation to Pineland Texas
