Finance Manager - Manufacturing
Location: Pineland, Texas
We are seeking a Finance Manager to serve as a strategic partner to manufacturing leadership within a lumber operation. This role is critical in driving financial performance, supporting operational decision-making, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across the mill.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with mill leadership to provide financial insight, analytics, and decision support
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost management activities
- Analyze production, operational, and cost data to identify efficiency and performance opportunities
- Develop financial models and business cases for capital investments and strategic initiatives
- Support improvements to financial processes, reporting, and systems
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Strategy, or a related field
- Finance experience in a manufacturing environment; lumber or wood products experience preferred
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and analysis
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau and ERP systems such as SAP
- Proven ability to lead initiatives and drive transformation within manufacturing operations
This position requires strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to influence across operations. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and driving measurable business results through financial leadership.
