A long‑established, globally active investment firm is seeking an experienced fundraising professional to strengthen its presence within the Italian institutional market. The role offers high visibility, cross‑asset exposure, and the opportunity to drive growth in a strategically important region.
Responsibilities
- Develop, deepen, and manage relationships with Italian institutional investors, including pension funds, insurers, foundations, and family offices.
- Lead the full fundraising cycle - from initial outreach to final commitment - across both public and private market strategies.
- Tailor messaging and strategy positioning to meet the specific objectives of Italian allocators.
- Collaborate closely with investment, product, and marketing teams to build compelling materials and execute a smooth fundraising process.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, sharing insights on markets, investment themes, and portfolio construction.
Ideal Candidate
- Proven success in institutional fundraising or investor relations within asset management, private markets, or alternatives.
- Strong network across the Italian institutional landscape with an understanding of local allocator behaviour and market trends.
- Fluent in Italian and English with excellent presentation and relationship‑building skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, international environment.
