Role Overview:
This role focuses on developing and optimising low-latency trading systems in C++ for real-time cryptocurrency derivatives markets. You will play a key role in building core infrastructure across market data, order execution, and risk systems, directly impacting live trading performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and build high-performance trading systems using C++
Develop and optimise market data, order management, and execution infrastructure
Improve latency-critical workflows, including order submission and execution handling
Analyse and resolve system bottlenecks through profiling and benchmarking
Optimise CPU, memory, network I/O, and concurrency performance
Build scalable, event-driven systems for real-time data processing
Maintain reliable connectivity with exchange APIs and trading venues
Troubleshoot production issues including latency spikes and system failures
Key Requirements:
Strong C++ programming experience in performance-critical environments
Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, and memory management
Experience with multithreading, concurrency, and asynchronous systems
Background in low-latency, real-time, or high-throughput systems
Hands-on experience with performance optimisation and profiling tools
Understanding of CPU architecture, memory hierarchy, and system-level tuning
Familiarity with TCP/IP and real-time data streaming systems
Strong debugging skills in production environments
Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
